I loved the fact that it was so convenient. Everything you need is walking distance! Great shops, restaurants, and bars are all just a quick walk away.
We were told there was a 24hour indoor spa that we can use....however it was closed during our stay.

The location in the Gaslamp District was perfect. I could safely walk everywhere. My room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Loved the in room refrigerator (I was able to walk 2 blocks to Ralph's and buy champagne and soy milk for my stay) and the free water. Unwound definitely stay again.

The service was excellent! I would stay there again. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and big. The beds were VERY comfortable. Food was good. Fantastic location!!!!
I didn't realize downtown San Diego was so noisy! We heard ambulances and sirens constantly. We wanted to keep our windows open but we had to close them at night. ( We wondered if there was a hospital nearby which would explain all the sirens?) And we were on the deluxe floors! Also we'd like to suggest replacing the table with fold out leaves with a nicer bistro round table. Other than that it was great.

Location/large room/good view. We were within walking distance of Petco Park and the ocean. Great location! We enjoyed three AZ Diamondback/SD Padres games. We went to Balboa Park by city bus. The bus stop being only one block from the hotel. We enjoyed three great resturants near the ocean, within walking distance.

The rooms were really nice and thought it was way different than any part of the hotel.
The overall feel. No parking unless you parked in a parking garage around the corner and up the street or you were forced to valet park your car for $32 a night. What a rip off. There was no mention that they were doing renovations so the front of the hotel was a disaster and good old morning noise of power tools and work vehicles.
